Merea is the Hebrew word for confidante, advisor and lifelong friend. The Mereaship program trains each Merea to walk out physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration. We recognize the importance of modeling this restoration through Kingdom sisterhood as each Merea walks out life with the women in our program. With ongoing training’s, our Mereas are equipped to assist each woman in redefining their lives through discovering their value, finding their Christ-centered purpose, and restoring their lives.
Our Mereaship program is integrated into every aspect of our ministry. From community outreach to the woman in crisis, Mereaship is the foundation of Merea House.
Merea House serves through our Mereaship program, crisis house, and community outreach.
In partnership with Recentered Ministries, the crisis house is a place where single women and mother’s with children can find refuge while walking out their restoration process. Our goal is to create a family-centered environment within the home encouraging healthy relationships with the House Manager and each woman in the house. To establish this environment the House Manager is available 24/7 for our residents. We build a Spirit-led Wholeness Plan with each woman that sets tangible goals to build a Christ-centered foundation, finding emotional healing, and breaking bonds of past trauma and hurt. We also partner with other ministries within the Huntsville Dream Center and greater community to help assist with faith and finances, job and life skills training, as well as Christ-centered counseling.
